The Department of Environment Forestry and Fisheries invites unemployed graduates, who wish to apply for the 24 months Internship Programme.

The Department reserves the right to fill or not to fill any Internship post advertised during this recruitment process.

The programme will commence on 01st April and end on 31st March.  Successful candidates will receive a stipend / allowance of R5 066.00 per month.

Applicants must:

  • be unemployed youth (SA citizens), not previously participated in any internship programme in the Public Service,
  • have completed at least a 3 year qualification from a recognized Higher Education Institution, also have foreign qualifications evaluated by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

  • submitted on a completed Z83 form obtainable from any government departments / offices,
  • accompanied by your recent CV, certified copies of RSA ID document, qualifications (you are advised to attach your academic transcript),
